Boyden Library Re-opens

As of July 22, the renovated Boyden Library re-opened to the public. As you can tell from the above photo, the library was enlarged to accommodate a separate Children's Room at the top and much bigger Reference Section below. The meeting room where the Foxboro Art Association always meets was also renovated and a new gallery system has been installed. We are waiting for official confirmation that we can start meeting there again the second Wednesday of the month, September through May. But in the meantime, we still plan to hold our first meeting there on September 11 at 7 pm. And because it's 9-11, an historic and horrific date, Beth Chariton, a docent for ArtMatters, will present a brief history of the art influences emanating from New York City during the past century. Beth is a wonderful speaker and her presentation should be very illuminating.
