Nov. 18 Meeting

FAA held their monthly meeting Nov. 18 and watched as artist Anthony Visco painted a marsh scene in watercolor. Note the photograph he used as a reference at the top of his easel. He emphasized painting loosely using a one-inch brush, taking advantage of the looseness of watercolor. His web page is panthonyvisco.com. (The "p" in his e-mail stands for "Peter", which he never uses.)
We are also grateful to Robert Stepansky for donating 2 boxes of painting books and supplies which the members feasted on -- all for free.

November Newsletter errata Demo artist

The November newsletter erroneously announced the incorrect demo artist for this Wednesday's upcoming meeting on November 18. The demo artist will be watercolorist Anthony Visco. www.panthonyvisco.com

Stephen Lewis Exhibit at Boyden

Stephen Lewis, a collector of historic posters, exhibits international posters with an environmental slant. His posters will be displayed in the Community Room of the Boyden Library for the month of November.

Meeting on Nov. 18

We usually meet on the second Wednesday of the month, but since the library will be closed Nov. 11, Veteran's Day, our meeting will be held on the 3d Wednesday, Nov. 18. See you then.
