The Walpole Library invites artists to hang their painting or a photo of a Lighthouse in its Community Room during the month of August. The only requirement is it be framed and wired for immediate hanging. Delivery will be Monday, Aug. 3, between 4 and 6 pm during which time it will be hung. There is an expert on New England lighthouses who will be speaking at the Walpole Library Thursday evening August 13 at 7 pm. And since all artists have at least one lighthouse, it is probably time people got to see it. Especially when there will be an expert talking about them!
You can then pick up your painting (or photo) on Monday, Aug. 31, 4-6 pm.
